The Zenways Mindfulness and Meditation teacher training is unique. It is rooted in the Rinzai Zen tradition. This has a long and distinguished history of teaching meditation for boosting physical and mental health and wellbeing, as well as for grounding, insight, and self-understanding. This five-week course gives an introduction to Mindfulness for health and well-being. Mindfulness has been shown to reduce stress, increase emotional resilience and promote a genuine sense of joy. A structured course of this length allows participants to learn Mindfulness meditation. It also gives support to help practise meditation in daily life. This 8-week course is aimed at looking deeper into mindfulness and meditation. We will cover a number of Zen meditation techniques and practices designed to explore what it means to develop a sense of physical and energetic grounding, and to have an understanding of yourself and the nature of reality.
